Woodford County TransPORT Board Member

There has been extensive media coverage about TransPORT taking over the old Caterpillar Mapleton facility. In case you were wondering, (we sure were) Joe Bachman is the Board Member appointed by the Woodford County Board to TransPORT. He is "a local farm owner, represents Woodford County on the TransPORT board. Bachman was born and raised in Roanoke, IL , where he operates his farm with his two sons. Bachman has extensive farming experience along with a strong background in construction. He played a major role in the initial construction of Parsons Manufacturing and assisted in the rebuild after the tornado damage", according to the TransPORT web site.
